Despite our vacillation between the quality of the upcoming Ghostbusters film, Cory and I were able to set aside our differences and catch another incredible double feature last night.
One of our most anticipated films of the year, The Nice Guys premieres today – and we could not be more excited about this Shane Black crime comedy. A pleasant surprise followed in Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, the unexpected sequel to 2014’s smash summer hit.
Cory also re-watched a pair of older films – Rob Reiner’s classic coming-of-age Stand By Me and Michael Mann’s austere The Insider. Tristan added to his collection of Woody Allen films with Broadway Danny Rose, an uncomfortable look into the olden days of New York City show business.
