Podcast June 25 – Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and Won’t You Be My Neighbor?

Two big releases this past weekend unfurled before us – the heavily anticipated follow-up to Colin Trevorrow’s incredible blockbuster Jurassic World, one that reignited everyone’s love of Michael Crichton and Steven Spielberg’s massive 1993 hit Jurassic Park.

Does Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom hold up to those standards? You’ll have to listen in to our podcast below, where we also take some time to reflect on the life and career of one Fred Rogers, the entreprenurial children’s PBS host who had tons of love to dole out to each and every one of us. That documentary, as many know, is Won’t You Be My Neighbor?

In addition, Cory saw three older films – 1972 animal horror Frogs, late Don Bluth “film” The Pebble and the Penguin and the classic musical starring Frank Sinatra and Marlon Brando: Guys and Dolls.

Tristan caught up a little bit more on 2017’s missed list with Tom Cruise’s latest, American Made.
