The Undiscovered Decade is back with yet another “hidden” gem:
One of the most ubiquitous novels of all time is Bram Stoker’s 1897 work Dracula. Many have adapted it, many will do so as the vampiric count continues to capture audiences’ fears and imaginations. In 1992, legendary director Francis Ford Coppola believed he could tackle the incredible narrative, bringing with him an all-star cast – Anthony Hopkins, Cary Elwes, Tom Waits, Richard E. Grant, Keanu Reeves, Winona Ryder, and the burgeoning star Gary Oldman as the titular antihero. Did the cinematic master pull it off? Is this even really a hidden gem if it came in 8th overall at the box office for the year? Stake your claim in our discussion of…..Bram Stoker’s Dracula!
